Formerly Payne Farm and once home to Elsie the Cow of Borden Dairy fame, these fertile acres have been lovingly transformed into vineyards and event spaces by the Feldman family. With deep roots in catering and hospitality dating back to 1936, Stable Gate is the natural evolution of generations devoted to making people feel welcomed, celebrated, and cared for.

SGW’s tasting room + leafy patio has wine flights, phenomenal meadmosas, NY-made cider and beer, cocktails and—just beyond the rows of their 2 acre micro-vineyard—a paddock with rescue horses.
Plus, August 12 is an important celestial summer night with a solar eclipse, a new moon + the peak Perseid meteor shower with 50 to 100 shooting stars per hour.
